Trend / Black, White, Metal

Black and ehite outfits with metallic detailing are currently taking Stardoll by storm. It's a surprisingly simple and cheap trend, but there's no reason you can't splurge on it either!

Re-Style

I chose three dolls rocking the trend, and used their looks to inspire my own!

I love an inclusive trend, and  musa15muso2 proves that even dudes can rock it! I created a feminine interpretation by using a more tailored jacket, using similar boots but with a heel.

hooliecat brings texture to the table with a fur jacket, textured bag, and metallic detail boots.

I didn't have a similar coat, so I layered up several different ones for a similar effect, and did the same with the skirt. I used a similar bag in shape, but made it bigger and with a clear effect instead of fur which is more my style. Her shoes were unique, so I tried to use a pair with a similar pattern instead of texture, which also better matches my bag.

Bringing the most white to the scene is PinkDudaeduda! I didn't own - and tend no to wear - tiger print, so I went with a striped top instead. Personally I love my off-the-shoulder jacket, but I think hers adds more dimension to the look. We both wear belted shorts, though mine are budget to her limited edition. I actually used several shoes to create a contrast platform effect. The bags are similar sizes, but I actually like mine with no tassels as I found the tassel bags I do own to be too much for my look.

My Style:

For my first outfit, I decided to stick with mostly black with an emphasis on texture. I used tulle and laced-up legging detailing, both with small silver buttons. I also added a white textured necklace. It's a very street styled look and a little edgier than I've been wearing lately.

For my second look, I incorporated mostly with with black contrasting textured parts. I really like how bright it looks, especially with the contrasting outfit beside it. It's a much more formal style as well.
