Trend / Army Green

Army green is back with a vengeance! Military styles are in, and this colour is no exception, taking over Stardoll as the season change.

Re Style

I picked three trendy dolls and created outfits inspired by theirs!

With the edgy msmatheussilva6, I decided to try recreate the overall look but with my own details. I used the same jacket, but went with a Feminist shirt instead of a band tee. I also went with a similarly shaped pant, but kept it in a regular denim and didn't use rips. For the shoes, I decided to go for a layered platform in a similar colour, as I just generally love platforms more than heels. For the bag, I used one of a similar colour but in a classic shape. I decided not to add face accessories as I felt for my outfit they tended to overwhelm the rest a little.

Overall, this is definitely an outfit I'd put together on my own, though I love how msmatheussilva6 played around with other textures and shapes.

We love an inclusive trend and ertan-tan definitely rocks these pants! I decided to make a feminine version, so I swapped out the pants for a skirt. I kept a similar blouse and femme fit jacket, which I added my own pins to. I really love how this one turned out because it seems so obvious and chic once I made it, yet I'd probably never have put these together otherwise!

Lelecapanqueca also uses pants and a white shirt, but in a much more formal style.  I didn't own the fancy brands she does, but was pleasantly surprised that I could create a similar look using more affordable pieces, including a basics top. It's a really classic look which I feel like I should do more often!

My Style

For my first outfit, I went with another related trend - camo print! I added a green swimsuit but layered it with a white shirt for a singlet look. I decided to leave the green as the main accent so I added subtle browns with the green and plain white.

For the second outfit, I decided to make the green less of a feature, focusing on the jacket with similar tones. To contrast the first outfit, I used black accents and textured, with a red bag to tie in with the jacket.
