Trend / One Shoulder

In case you haven't noticed, I LOVE one should jackets! (You can check out two of my previous stylings of this trend Here and Here.)

One-shoulder jackets, irl, generally aren't literal half-jackets, but rather whole jackets that have been artfully positioned to sit over only one shoulder. It's a more sophisticated way of carrying a jacket when it's too hot to actually wear the whole thing. Stardoll, though, takes it literally, giving us a number of one-shoulder half-jackets, pre-styled to perfection!

Featured Outfits:

GiselleWoodsen uses her jacket as simply another part to her outfit, keeping warm while also showing off her bold pleated skirt.

LilBahardans399 goes classy with a newly released white blazer, a model-off-duty silk blouse, and jeans.

kathydana is bringing cowboy back with plenty of brown accessories, and unmissable hat, and a jacket to catch eyes.

My Starplaza Picks:

A new addition to the trend post - my favourite starplaza items! These are of course currently-available items that you can buy right now, and get on board with the trend.

Mr Garcon Red Throw On Jacket

Any good trend should be inclusive, and this jacket is definitely a great addition to any doll's closet, given that it's a male-doll shape. Plus, it's a gorgeous deep red that could look fantastic with a range of different looks!
Vinyl Throw On Jacket

Black biker jackets have forever been a wardrobe staple, so why not change it up a little, and show off other aspects of your outfit with a one-shoulder version? As worn by featured doll GiselleWoodsen.

Millionaire Mansion Fashion White Crisp Oneside Blazer

This blazer, modeled by featured doll LilBahardans399, is definitely a classic addition to any outfit.

Rio Chicas Palermo Faux Fur

If statement textures and bold colours are more your thing, this jacket definitely ticks all the boxes while keeping just your left arm warm.

My Stylings;

As usual, my first look took inspiration from the featured outfits, two of which used jeans, two with statement belts matched with accessories, and two with statement earrings. For my outfit, I used these elements as whitewashed jeans, gold matching belt, shoes, and earrings. I decided to ditch bags altogether and walk a cat instead!

For my second outfit, I threw caution to the wind and took cues from my jacket, a statement piece with red, blue, and pink featuring prominently. I decided to go full grunge chic, layering two shirts, a tiered necklace, and adding plenty of tecture.

I love how totally different they looked!
