RESTYLE
As usual, I picked three dolls who rocked the trend to use an a base for my own outfit.
YonceLuigi exposes not only her bra, but the top of her underwear in a fishnet textured top. I decided to use the same jacket and top to create a similar effect, but went with a more tailored pant, layered necklace, and a very different bag which suited my style far more. I picked a similar but plainer shoes as I already owned them, and a very different but still black bra for the same reason.
I think this outfit is quite cool, but it definitely does stay within the range of styles I could have styled for myself, which is probably why I like it. Though I'll admit, intentionally showing underwear is definitely out of my comfort zone!
xiongmao pairs laced sleeves with floral loose pants and colourmatched accessories. I didn't own anything remotely similar, so I DIY'd it by layering a few pieces that I did own. For the pants, I wanted to keep the tailored, loose, and printed look, and I really loved these green peacock feathered versions. I matched my accessories colour wise to my pants, but aimed for a similar shaped bag and positioning as Xionmao had.
This was definitely the most fun outfit to recreate given the amount of freedom I ended up with, though I would rather like to buy a similar floral pant seeing how good someone else can style it. The bag is definitely not a style I would have picked but I surprised myself by liking it a lot. And I do love the outcome and would definitely wear it again!
GeorginaHer looks fierce with a cat print skirt and leather jacket with red pieces. I made what can best be described as the budget version, using cheaper brands. For the skirt I aimed for a similar shape and colour, and ended up going with this floral one. For the top I needed a lacy red bra, and the closest I had was a bra/crop top combo from Nelly that I think is much more my style anyway. The jackets were the closest item on the outfit and an easy choice, while the necklace what quite difficult - I ended up choosing one with red in it, just because. The shoes and bag were also difficult, so I matched the colours rather than the shapes.
I think overall this is definitely in between my own style, and something a lot more glamorous than I'd usually try. I don't mind the outcome, but there's no questions GeoginaHer's looks better!

STARPLAZA PICKS
This time, there's no specific itmes - but we do recommend not only Underneath Stardoll bras, but using swimsuits from Trails and Riviera as well!
MY STYLING
I decided to go with two contrasting colours and shapes. Given this is a trend I've already worn quite a bit, I wanted to create simpler looks to specifically showcase the trend rather than to hide or outdo it elsewhere.
For the first outfit, I used a ready made shirt with a sheer texture and bra built in. I added acidwash fitted jeans, a fluffy silver coat, and black and grey accessories to keep with the cold palette.
For the second outfit, I wanted something warm. I found another bra-shirt combo with an orange bralette and fishnet top which made a great base. To contrast the first look, I chose baggy, black, metallic patterned pants and a tailored orange jacket. I also went for black and gold accessories to match the other elements.
