We've been seeing cold shoulder cut outs and off-the-shoulder styles for a while - but lately, items on only one shoulder, or with one exposed, have been popping up all over both real life runways and the stardoll scene.
In the meantime, I've revamped my post format a little bit - I hope you like it!
Re-Style:
I found 3 fashionable dolls rocking the trend, and created my own version inspired by their stylings.
I decided to keep the general silhouette of the look, using a slightly more tailored pant, and opting for a lace textured top. I loved the idea of the sandals, and went with my own, chunkier pair. I didn't own a similar bag, so instead I went for an equally loud envelope which toned in with my look. Colour wise, I kept the black on top, and wanted to keep the bottoms neutral but in a different shade. Instead of a belt buckle, my pants came with a tie, so I used those colours to choose my bag, and added a hat in the same fashion, and to make it my own style.
Miss_secret121s 's outfit consists of a tie-dye sweater with shoulder cut out, white joggers, a belt bag, and chunky shoes. It's a very relaxed yet trendy style - and definitely very different from my usual!
As I didn't own any similar shirts, I combined a one-shoulder layered tee with a matching choker for a similar effect. I added a black belt bag to tie in, and ended up choosing a much longer and looser pair of tailored pants as they were closer to my personal aesthetic. I was wearing white sneakers, but they're hidden under the pants.
bouganville's aesthetic is classy yet beachy. It uses a one-shoulder dress with a belt, platform sandals, a wicker basket, and other small details.
For my look, I realised I did not own any remotely similar dresses - instead, I decided to mirror the shape by using a freebie dress with a similar waistline and opposite single shoulder, overlayed with a one-shoulder jacket to immitate the puff sleeve, and a tassle skirt underneath to mirror the movement of bouganville's dress hem. I used a wicker basket of my own, and tied the colour of my own chunky sandals into my dress colour.

My Style:
I decided to make two very different outfits - an incorporated some of my favourite things!
On the left, I made a grunge style look. I enlarged a very trendy pageboy hat, and layered two pairs of pants for an even darker vibe. This sweater shape worked perfectly with the belt bag too!
On the right, I went for a much more feminine, summery style. Once again, I resized items - specifically the bag and the sleeve frill which is actually a top - and made use of textures in the shirt and one-shoulder crop top.
I really love the way both of these turned out, even though they are so very different.
