A big trend right now is using multiple items of the same colour, but in different shades! This is the first in a series of posts I'll be doing every Tuesday and Thursday, so if you liked it, be sure to leave a comment and come back again next week for more!
Shades of orange and brown are back with a vengeance in 2019. This outfit merges both for a fresh, layered look reminiscent of a Western.
Going back to neutral grey, this very classic look could be suitable for autumn or spring and makes use of many great textured pieces.

Yellow is an unexpected colour, but pops here with some serious wow factor! The shades are close enough to blend well but different enough, and with texture so each item really pops.
My attempts:
It's definitely a trickier trend than it looks!
Initially, I tried using Purple. While I had a few textured items, I lacked accessories and most were pastel.
Next came red, which I had a lot more textures for. But I didn't have many accessories, and quite a lot of the bottoms were printed.
Conclusion:
While I do think it's a cool trend, and some people can definitely rock it, it's a little hard to do when you have a smaller wardrobe or don't like shades that clash. It's an intriguing trend that I wouldn't mind seeing more of, and I wouldn't mind having another try myself!
